The extracted text is shared with AI solely to provide the AI-powered document analysis functionality requested by the user, including extracting, identifying, organizing, and structuring information from insurance policy documents.
DROOU does not use this AI processing to provide targeted advertising or to create advertising profiles of users.
Before OCR-extracted text containing potentially personal information is transmitted to AI, DROOU clearly informs the user that the extracted information may be shared with the third-party AI service.

If the user does not provide consent, the extracted text is not transmitted to AI and the AI-powered analysis is not performed.
DROOU provides AI-powered insurance policy analysis features. When you choose to use these features, certain information extracted from your uploaded insurance policy may be transmitted to Groq AI as a third-party AI service provider.
Before any information is shared with Groq AI, DROOU will clearly inform you:
DROOU shares only the information reasonably necessary to provide the requested AI functionality and does not share information with the third-party AI service for advertising or marketing purposes.
Insurance documents and extracted text are transmitted between the application and DROOU's backend using secure communication mechanisms.
DROOU takes reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect uploaded documents, extracted text, and personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
DROOU retains insurance documents, extracted information, and associated account data only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the requested services, maintain the user's account, comply with applicable legal requirements, and fulfill legitimate business purposes.
Users may request deletion of their account and associated personal data, including uploaded insurance documents, by contacting us at support@droou.com.
Where applicable, DROOU will also take reasonable steps to request deletion of personal information shared with third-party service providers in accordance with applicable contractual obligations and the provider's applicable policies.
Users may decline AI processing at any time.
If a user does not provide consent for sharing extracted text with AI, the AI-powered document analysis feature will not transmit the extracted text to AI.
Users may also request withdrawal of consent for future AI processing or request deletion of their personal data by contacting support@droou.com.
Withdrawal of consent may prevent the user from using features that require AI-powered document analysis, but it will not affect other functionality that does not require such processing.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee 100% security.
Personal data and policy documents are retained for as long as you use our services.
